Meet the team

Rav Yishai Abrams - Director

Rav Yishai is a longtime Bnei Akiva-nik going back to his youth growing up in Bnei Akiva South Africa. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife, Rachel Zucker (a Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy and Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School alumna and Livingston native) and their adorable son Azi. Rav Yishai loves hiking and baking and can't wait for an amazing summer!

Sara Sokolowski - Rakezet

Sara Sokolowski has been the Rakezet at Moshava Ba'ir MetroWest since 2022. She lives in West Orange, NJ with her husband and three children. When she is not acting as Rakezet, she is a speech language pathologist at SINAI and is a proud Kushner parent!

Dara Rosenzweig - Sganit

This is Dara Rosenzweig’s first year at Moshava Ba’ir MetroWest! She is really excited to be a Sganit! Dara has been a learning specialist for many years, and loves working with kids. She has three children who will be joining camp as well! They are all looking forward to an awesome summer! Dara and her family live in Springfield, NJ.

Shira Aminoff - Sganit

Happy to be back this summer, Shira Aminoff brings over 14 years of experience in Early Childhood Education to our camp. For the past 5 years, she has been teaching in Early Childhood classrooms at JKHA. Shira lives in Livingston with her husband and three children. She is a JKHA/RKYHS alumna and a proud JKHA parent. Shira is passionate about fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for campers, ensuring that every child has a memorable and enriching camp experience. Outside of camp, Shira enjoys the pool, music, and baking creative treats with her children. She loves incorporating her hobbies into camp activities, bringing a fun and personal touch to the programs she leads.

Shiely Sadikov - Nurse

Hey, I’m Shiely Sadikov, the camp nurse! I live in Elizabeth, NJ with my husband and 4 boys. Aside for my passion for caregiving, I enjoy relaxing at the beach with a good book. Random fact about me, back in high school I used to swim competitively!

Eliot Bank - Rosh Sports

Eliot Bank, MA, CSCS, USAT has built his career coaching athletes of all ages to build the strength and conditioning they need to perform their best. He is the founder and lead performance coach at Empower Performance & Fitness, and works in hospitals, schools, gyms and private homes throughout NY and NJ helping clients, patients, and students build strength, power, speed, healthy lifestyle habits and confidence. A lifelong runner and triathlete, Coach Eliot has worked with bodies of all kinds, from professional athletes to seniors looking to maintain mobility as they age and everyone in between. He has a particular passion for inspiring young athletes, spending the last two decades running youth coaching programs for students from pre-school to high school, and now as Rosh Sport at Camp Moshava Ba’ir. He holds a MA in Kinesiology & Exercise Science, is an American College of Sports Medicine certified Exercise Physiologist, and holds certifications as a Strength & Conditioning Coach from NSCA, Triathlon Coach from USAT and a weightlifting coach from USAW.
